It’s a new chapter for Coop Records.

After launching staking last week we’ve got our sights set on ramping up how COOP is used in our ecosystem to curate our next song tokens.

This week we dropped 14 new tracks - including the new Zeds Dead and Swimming Paul singles today along with onboarding one of the hottest acts in base music - Hamdi.

For those who missed it - Sound distributed OP from their retroactive airdrop, with 67 Coop Recs artists qualifying for a fun bonus to kick off the year. We’re planning to use any OP Coop Recs receives to buy back our song tokens.

Lastly - I’ll be heading to London for a Daniel Allan pop up this weekend along with a few label meetings followed by a week in Tokyo to see MPH and Hamdi live in concert. We’ll also be hosting an intimate onchain music event next Friday - so if you happen to be in Japan please stop by!

The next few weeks about to be a massive ramp up for us. We’ve got some major artists lined up to start dropping and we can’t wait to keep the momentum rolling as we look to make 2025 the best year yet for onchain music.
